I did some training modules online for some products that we sell where I work and the incentive to complete the modules was a Leatherman Kick. I don't know that I would have bought this on my own since I already own a Leatherman Clip-It and a few other multi-tools, but I sure do love me some free stuff when it is useful free stuff.

Powernoodle has a Kick in his pocket right now. He likes it because it is among the thinnest and lightest of the full size MTs. Powernoodle always looks for the smallest and lightest tool with the most utility, because he carries around a bunch of EDC stuff. He likes to have the plier and drivers, but he does not need to haul around a file, saw, etc.

The stainless version is the Kick. You can tell because it does not have the locking mechanism. That, and it says "Kick" on it.

Powernoodle doesn't have a pocket clip on his Kick. He also refers to himself in the third person, much like Tito Jackson, The Rock, the Dali Lahma, Mr. T, Bob Dole, and nutnfancy :D

The Kick is my only pliers based MT. Honestly, I never found myself looking for something more, or searching for something different. It's just fine. You will find out the same thing soon.

The Kick is my favorite, most used Leatherman. It wasn't free, but it's worth every penny.
