i just got a switchback today

so i got a swtichback for cheap and i was going to resell it to make a profit, and i just wanted to play with it. turns out this knife is awesome. compared to the 940, i like the feel a lot more. the blade is crazy sharp, sharper than my native, calypso jr, and mini grip 556, which is surprising because i thought s30v was hard to sharpen or something. the blue handle color is a lot better than in pictures. my only grips with this knife is the blade shape, i wish there was more steel near the tip. i also can't find a use for the small slip joint.

so now, the 940 is totally out of the picture for me. i still have to try the ares and the 710. the swtichback is going to be hard to top.

I love the switchback. Now that I've got my 41MC bali off of my list, my next two benchmades are probably the 960 and Switchback. As far as the second blade being concerned, it has been suggested to use it for sheeple friendlyness, as small blades can't be used to hurt people (in their minds).

the 960 looks very nice, but too bad it's not big enough for me. the first thing i thought when i held it was that it woudl be perfect for my girlfriend if she liked knives.
