I have a black clip serrated Raven with olve drab handles. It looks awesome. I guess I am tired of G-10/black handles. The handles fit my hand perfectly. I think the blade is made from ATS-34. I wish it was 154CM instead. It is sharp but not as sharp as the CQC-7s. It opens real smooth and has perfect lockup. The thumbstud is big but not overly. The pocket clip has more space than I am used to, thus I can clip it on to thicker articles of clothing. I prefer to wear my knives tip down but the Raven is quick and easy to deploy due to the size of the pocket clip and the Kydron handles. This knife has one of the best feeling handles that I have felt. It is similar in size to my Microtech Socom but has a slightly smaller blade. Another thing about the handles. I have read some posts about the grips being flimsy and easy to squeeze, it is not so. They are solid. When I first started playing with the knife, it seemed difficult to open because there is not much space between the thumbstud and the slabs. After about an hour opening it, it is not a hassle at all.
I read somewhere that Emerson makes glow in the dark handles for the Raven. If this is true, where can I get them?
Overall, I am very satisfied with this knife however, I would like to see this knife with 154 CM instead.

I myself have been plannin to get a raven for the longest time nw,although not very many people here like it on the forums,I think it is awsome and for the price it is just great.
CONGATULATIONS MAN!!!!!!!

I personally have 2 Ravens, and I love them! Both have BT-2 coating, both have black grips, and both are combo edged. One is a "Tanto" Blade(99 on the blade), the other is "spear-point" blade(97 on the blade)! IMO they are the best knives I own(Benchmades, other Emersons, Spyderco, and on, and on!) The seem to have better grip characteristics over the CQC-7's(production) and are somewhat smoother, and "tighter" feeling! I have NEVER experienced any of the problems others have with ANY Emersons (ex: weak grips, or major play in the blade, or bad lock-up. My "Tanto" version is flawless, but my "spear-point" has a slight "side to side" play when opened..... Either knife is a GREAT choice...Congrats!!!
