The other day.Man what a deal.30.00$ cdn.I was a little scratched so the price was cut way down.Also the edge was pretty well done in.I fixed that in an hour with my lansky now you could shave an ape in mid run with it.
Ever get a blemished blade for next to nothing?
 
Yes, I have. Just today, actually. See my recent post "Everybody Loves A Clearance Sale." The blade on the Spyderco Moran I bought was nicked, but my Lansky got it back to razor sharpness.

I paid $20. A real steal.

the edge was so bad on the Ka-Bar you'd swear the previous owner tried to saw rebar with it.:thumbdn:
 
Maybe he did try. Ka-bars are pretty tough.

Iv'e purchased many knives for little money because they are in bad shape. A little TLC and some time with a Lansky usually brings them back to prime cutting condition.
