I just bought the new BM 720 model with 154CM straight blade 3.5 inches, G10 black handle. I checked BM site and it is not listed there. Does anyone know if this model is discontinued? Have I purchased a lemon? it seems really sharp. I can cut a chunk of beef easily and slice paper at an angle. Has anyone used the Benchmade 720 model ? let me know if there are any problems I should know .

I have a 720, Axis lock, Alumium scales, plain blade, 154CM, designed by Mel Perdue. It is one of my most carried knives.
Mine has the large BM logo on one scale.
