A VERY unexpected email that I received couple of days ago just about made me fall off of my chair.

Many of you Spyderholics may be familiar with our fellow forumite Allen E. Treat (ATE in the Spydie home forum). Well, out of his generous and good nature he is sending me an early birthday present---:eek: a NIB Military CE :eek: !!! Needless to say, I was speechless!! What can anyone say in a situation like this?!?!

Thank you very much, Allen, the Millie will be well taken care of. ;) :D

MY birthday is coming-up (in July :)), and I REALLY want...No, I REALLY NEED a SS fully-serrated Spydie Police model.:D.
 
I should have mentioned that Allen didn't know my Bday was coming up. He chose to do this gesture, as a good deed, for the Holidays. :D

Allen is indeed a wonderful guy. He sent me an extra surprise gift when he sold me a G-10 Harpy. It was for something else, not a birthday. Thanks, Allen!

I CAN'T belive this!! Now, I won't need a birthday present OR even a Christmas present! I have ALWAYS wanted a G-10 Police model (I even tried trading for one awhile back, with no luck), but I NEVER thought that I'd EVER get one.

What a grand Idea, I think this world would indeed be a better place should all the devout but misguided EDC people could be shown the light. I would take mine into any trench in the world, real or representitive, with complete confidence.

It is reashuring the see this being done :)

I always feel it is best to have some knives from every knife manufacture instead of just one. For comparison reasons of course :)

i would LOVE to be able to get a high quality knife. maybe one day i will be as fortunate as everyone else...

I also have A LOT of spidies from him. Allen never stops amazing me with his generosity (and other things) ;). He is truly the man :)

(to say the LEAST) with Our comrade,
KBR, I just wanted to make my "foolish innuendo" made public, even though the "arrangement" was between
me & him. I say, SORRY AMIGO!
It's just the usual "failure of communication" so prevelent in the "human condition". What's one to do?
Is "sorry" enough? Who(m) knows. But
IMO, with regards to KBR, it's hard to "put a GOOD forumite down"
Just "for the record" guys.
