I'm sure it's been said before, but it really cannot be said enough especially with the way things are today. The customer service at Ka-Bar is incredible and you really cannot say that about a lot of companies these days - especially a big one like Ka-Bar.
So I got back from a weekend of camping and my tek-lol had come lose during a hike so I took the time when I got home to tighten all the screws and oil my BK2. As I am tightening the sheath screws one of he binding posts snaps right where the cylinder meets the flat part. So I did some searching and found another post on this forum which gave the DIY for changing them all to imperial, but it requires some sanding and what not. I head over to Home Depot and the guy I'm dealing with who's showing me where the binding posts are has an attitude and almost can't be bothered. I ask if he has any different sizes and he scoffs at me saying how this is all he has. So I leave the store, give Ka-Bar a call and tell them what's going on, keep in mind I didn't even have to wait on hold. The woman tells me she isn't quite sure what part I was talking about but hell ship me all the parts free of charge. All I had to give them was my name and address.
I thought I'd take a moment to share that with you guys as one way of showing my appreciation for such a great company. And I really don't give praise to any companies.
