Got this today thanks to Railsplitter and a little misdirection from the post office. Its a bit of a nail breaker but i still cant put it down. My mind is blown all over the room. So much character in the bone and so well put together. freaking bravo

Glad you like it, clich. Your pics are better than mine.

You are a Primitive Bone maniac, my friend.:) Hope your collection continues to grow.

Nice images of the knife, and congrats on your new GEC! I keep telling myself that I have enough, but then photos like these pop up and get me thinking about primitive bone and all it's cool character and variation.

Not too shabby for some half rotten cattle bone.:p

Seriously though, nice catch. From what I've seen, the Primitive Bone is as unique and interesting as good stag or exterior ram horn. I like the matchstrike pull too.

That is a looker. Oil the joint and spend a movie working the action, it will be smoother and lighter after a while.

Clich,
I'm glad that your initial disappointment (and bad luck) with traditionals has been blown away by a satisfactory find. This knife looks great, and I'm sure that you are already convinced that the planet of traditional knives still has alot to show you.
Oh, and good luck for the primitive bone barlow!

That handle really is unique! The shape is really cool. Congrats on that one, the 73 is one of my favorites. Just a strong, sleek design.

Great looking! Can you get an in-hand-pic of that one. I´ll gonna buy a GEC this year, and can´t decide.

Kind regards
Andi

Sure can. She is my new edc. I had some apples and citrus fruits for breakfast today to get the patina going.

Alright!

Thank you for that pic! Seems to be pretty nice and having a nearly the same size like a regular Case Trapper but with one blade.

I think, I gonna write that one the want-to-have-list ;)

Kind regards
Andi

Nice! I also like primitive bone, as well as stag. Very usable looking pattern.
