Okay, I know it's an inexpensive folder, but so are the Doziers and everyone seems to like those (I need to get one, too). I ordered it, too be honest, because I like the name (and maybe it will smell like bacon). It probably could have been any design and I would have bought it, but as a plus I do like the blade shape. It looks a little like the Kershaw Blur as far as blade shape goes, and I have one of those, too.

Thin, fast, solid, and great design. I don't think there will be much about it, that you don't like. Let us know how it goes, and if I'm wrong, let me know that as well.

Now you need the piggyback and ZK folder to complete the set.

These really are great folders, as well as the Dozier folders, at a great price.

Well, the Baconmaker showed up today. I put a couple of drops of oil on it and I am surprised at how easily it opens. I figured that since it is a lockback that it would be stiff and, boy, was I wrong. I also really like the blade shape and it came very sharp. The grip also feels very nice in the hand. Overall, I really like it and for the price it is a winner.

I don't know how well it will work on a hog, but I'm going to try it out on some 'maters tomorrow.

Congrats on the new blade. Photos please. Take some photos while slicing your 'maters.
