I believe the software knows your name. If you used PayPal, it will take a few days for Spark to put the payment through. Check your profile and when it shows Private messaging is enabled, you're good.
When you see that, to update your title and color to show your paid membership, click Settings at the top right, then on the left click Permission Groups, then click on your correct membership.
