I'm excited, I just ordered one of Scott Cook's fixed blade Small Owyhee Hunters. Mine has the three inch BG-42 Sebenza styled useful blade shape. Heat treat and cyro'ed by Paul Bos. Handle is the full contour without bolster and slabs of Desert Ironwood, lightly checkered for grip. The neat and trim heavy leather sheath. This should be a classy personal use/utility/hunting and woods knife. I can't wait to see the guys at deer camps eyes pop when they see this beauty. It might even displace one of my beloved Doziers, or the Neil Blackwood Small Hunter I ended up with after a recent trade. I never thought I would say that about my Doziers! This is going to be a long month waiting, but I know it will be worth it.
