Just wanted to share my excitement. I ordered the Doug Ritter MK1 with his survival kit. Hey, you have to treat yourself every once in awhile, right? Anyway, my exceptations for this knife is fairly high. You guys have had nothing but good things to say. I will see by tuesday

Both of them together make an excellent pocket survival package. The kit is one of the most well thought out, with top quality items and the knife is simply amazing.

Bigcountry73, don't forget to read the bonus material in the survival pak. It has some excellent recommendations for supplimenting the contents, such as shelter, flashlight (consider Doug's customized Photon Freedom - a bit pricey but I really like mine -it hangs with keys rather than sliding in the kit), and a first aid kit.
