I just ordered me a Case Large Stockman 6.5 Stag.. in CV. What do ya'll think? Tell me about yours? Any Large Stockman pix would be greatly appriciated to help in my agonizing wait for "the package" to arrive. Thnx, M

To me this is one of those classic "must have" knives. It's a time tested knife like an Opie, SAK Soldier or Douk Douk. There is a reason by it found it's way to the pockets of so many. Hope that you enjoy yours

I pack one most days. :) Helluva knife. I was soaking mine in mineral oil one day and bleached the scales, but now it's been re-colored a deep black with Rit.

Looks great, cuts great.

I've got a '98 or '99 Chestnut Bone in CV that's a keeper.

Well, if the one you get is anything like mine, you'll love it. IMHO, Case quality has really improved since the 1970's-80's.

The one you're getting is pretty hefty - I carry a smaller amber bone Case on Sundays, but my 6.5 is with me pretty every other day of the week.

I can't put up photos right now as we're STILL not unpacked yet; the day we moved in we found out there's not a grounded outlet in the house. (Grrrrrrrr . . . ) I'll put up photos as soon as I get fully settled in, and can get everything plugged in without making all the @!!#!!@%&!! lights flicker . . .

thx - cpr

i've got the large stockman in yellow with cv steel, 3375. really like it, pretty much good for just about anything you need to do. as mentioned above these patterns have been around for so long for one reason, they work.

Hey texasboy, I ordered it from www.casexx.com Which is Shepherd Hills Cutlery. This is my first time ordering from them. Many Cases to choose from there. Thanks for all the feed back guys. Can't wait to git it in!! M

Tick, tock, tick, tock, ........Waiting on my StockMan! I can't wait to put my own edge on the blades! Looks like this one's gonna be an EDC. Pix in hand?? Thanks, Matt

Just ordered a medium stockman in 6.5 bone stag and CV myself and should have it by Wednesday. Been kind of anxious to see some of the 6.5 bone stag myself, as all the pictures I find online seem to be about the size of a matchbook and don't show how much variation there is from knife to knife. Hopefully your mail man shows up soon and ends the suspense for ya.
