Better than having Rosie O'Donnell's measurements memorized. Seriously, its funny how stuff like that sticks in your mind. I can still remember the address of the first house I lived in: 177 Concord Rd, Biloxi Miss and I was 3 yrs old at the time.

707 West 171st Street, apartment 3G (New York City) and my phone number was WA(dsworth) 8-5037. My parents drilled that into us before we were allowed to go outside by ourselves.

Unfortunately, it didn't necessarily stop at that. All the parents knew each other from the PTA, so if someone saw you getting out of line, they might call your mother.
