I'm pleased to meet ya'll. I just received a HH. This is the initial post of another Alabama boy.

Through forty some odd years, I've supplemented my education by tuning in rather than broadcasting. In turn, I've never been much of a poster. However, after today's arrival of a mag scaled Heavy Heart , I was compelled to reciprocate.

To my dismay, my HH had no marking what so ever. If that ain't hell then I'll be damned! My first thoughts were Jerry was ashamed to put his name on the thing and Skunk was peddling seconds. The thought then occurred to me that it was more authentic as battle blade as it was(?) At any rate, I like it! If I ever put it down, straight to the bug-out bag it goes.

I acquired my first "infectious" Busse less than a month ago and have EXCEEDED MY LIQUOR BILL since by stockpiling them at a rate of at least a couple per week. My little Pork Belly Skinner suited me to a tee. I found a Skeleton Key to be the cat's behind. I had to have a couple of Hell Razors due in part to their name alone. I figured my reptile handled Jack would the the largest knife I would personally have use for but I've fondled my HH all day. The HH was tailor made. I'm am six and a quarter/ two and a quarter but I imagine it would have been close to right when I was twelve years old. Now I want a box full of Hearts and at the very least, a single mistress. :D

Although I figure three quarters of you cats are on the payroll and even though I may never post again, my hat is off to Jerry Busse. He is a true genius. I appreciate that.

Welcome to the Busse forum Steven. I have'nt heard much about any that are sterile. It might make it more valuable. Someone with more knowledge than I will chime in about it before long.

Post some pics.

Welcome to the Busse Forum, I'm glad that you stopped by. I hope you decide to stick around and post, it becomes quite addictive after a few posts ;) (not quite as addictive as buying Busses but close ;) )

3 reasons that I can see why Jerry doesn't mark his some of his Combat knives.
1) Many people prefer them "sterile" (especially soldiers)
2) The knife speaks for itself in performance and quality, it does not require a big logo on the side of the blade to indicate it's origin
3) The front talon hole identifies it as an authentic Busse

Once again welcome to the forums

:D:D

Congrats on the Heavy Heart. Compared to most of these guys, I'm "new" too. Welcome to the forum!

I was stoked when my HH Mag arrived too! Feels great, huh?

Congrats! If you're like me you'll soon be INFI poor. How will I ever pay the mortgage!

Congrats bro and welcome aboard. You got yourself one heck of a knife there! One of the biguns!

I got my HH yesterday.

Mine is sterile as well.

What a beast. It is a "Heavy"! It makes it hard to imagine how Heavy a HOGFSH would be.

I have a hard time putting mine down as well.

.

Welcome aboard Steven and congrats on scoring a sterile HH. Glad to see you stepped up to the bar and posted. You seem to have substituted normal drinking for shots of INFI:D

big mistake!!! we accidentally shipped about 12 sterile models

a special batch got shipped that were destined for NASA,

oh well, if you don't want them then i'll just have to replace them with my special dremal tool engraved models.

what! huh? hey stop that!!! quit hiding all those rare sterile heavy hearts under your bed!!! :grumpy:

I'll drink to that! I'm looking forward to meeting you fellows at Blade in a few weeks. I've gone for the past few years but didn't have any one to look for. Thanks for the warm welcome Silas, Bully, Paddling Man, Dirtdiver, Scrounger, Solstice, DWRW, Adilione, Skunk, and Beef.

Skunk: I'll take another couple. I would have ordered them already but you put them up at the dangdest times and I've got too much running around to to.

Diver: I've got that same insignia on my ring. I don't know what it means?

Thanks Again,

Steven Lee Carr

Dang Skunk, I hadn't gotten it out of my mouth good until I scored a couple. I'll leave you alone now until the next run of sexy blades come out.

Thanks,

Steven Lee Carr

Ok, Steven, you've left out the most important information for a boy from around these parts. What religion are you - Blue/Orange or Crimson/White?

And if you are in the Birmingham area, Daniel (Galaxytech) and I meet at Southeastern Guns in Trussville occasionally for a Busse show and tell.

Mike:

I bleed CRIMSON and WHITE and have bought probably a dozen units from Southeastern Guns. However, the last one I got from them was a used Jap Light 12 in 98% for $499 if that tells you anything. I've been wanting to meet Daniel too. I've got an OLD Realistic hand held 200 channel scanner that crapped out.

I'm down around Lake Wedowee. Time was I could be in Trussville in a hour or so before the highway patrol got so bad on 20. I've got a cousin that's a wheel with the power company that will put me up for a week anytime that lives in Trussville...........Oh, beg your pardon, I worked for John Morrell out of Cincinnati for years and I'm not so sure the Ohio boys can understand me. I know I couldn't hardly order a hamburger when I was up there.

Oh no, my wife goes to auburn and she is going to resent the crimson comment. Booooo. just kidding I thought football fans were fanatic back at ohio state, it's 1294209429X worse down here!

Crimson and White? You pull for the state basketball school? Oh, well, no one's perfect.

Who is your power company buddy? I retired from there in 2002.

My last Southeastern Guns purchase was a pre-ban Colt Lightweight Sporter AR in 7.62x39, so it's been a while for me. My daughter and I are in there at least bi-weekly, though, just to get our gun store browsing fix.

Barry Faulkner.........half the people I know work for or are retired from apc. I could name probably twenty relatives. Why they didn't want me some twenty-five years ago is beyond me? :) My wife quit them in '96. To be honest, as far as crimson or orange goes, I graduated from JSU and know which side my bread is buttered on.

Woohoo! (homer simpson moment) just got home from work and a package was waiting for me! HH mag, while i was holding it next to my HH standard i noticed it was as sterile as can be! sweeet, oh yeah and it liked the usps box :p
