I've always been intrigued by this knife due to the size, blade shape, and blade material. I finally bought one and it arrived today. I think it is pretty awesome- the handle is plenty long, the blade is beefy but not overly thick, and the tip appears to be very strong. The weight is good, the handle is thin, the lock works well with just a bit of stickiness. I don't mind the light amount of detent and wish some of my other knives were like that. With the dull appearance of the Ti frame it isn't a flashy knife, it appears to be all business and that's what I got it for. I have a lot of faith in M4 too.
This knife is probably similar in size to a Ti Military, but I think it has a lot stronger tip. I was wanting a Military but I was also thinking that the tip was a little fragile. This may take away my urge to buy a Military.
This is a used knife but I don't think it has been sharpened. The edge though appears to be about 25 degrees per side, or even more. I touched it to my Sharpmaker at 20 degrees and it only touches the very top of the bevel so I gave up for now. I'll have to reprofile it. It looks good right now with a thin uniform grind, after I reprofile it the bevel will be much higher. And by chance my Bradley Alias I is the same way and needs reprofiling too.
