I thought I'd share this one although it's been shown before. Yesterday, I received a package in the mail from my friend and Buck buddy, Kevin (aka: imafritz). The package contained this beauty, a gift to me from Kevin, and a letter which also contained a very sweet note from his daughter, Kaylee.

This is a first for me (no date mark 110) , it's my oldest 110 and after the spa treatment that Kevin had done, it looks like a new knife! I couldn't be prouder of it, and just wanted to say a public thanks to Kev for his generosity and thoughtfulness. These are his pictures that I plagerized from his earlier thread about the knife.

Thanks again Kev and Kaylee!

What a nice gesture. Congrats to you all.
Regards Sonny

Thanks Sonny and thanks again to Kevin.

Wow thats great! Its your oldest 110, Dave??!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Pretty cool Fritz!!

Yep, I had never looked much for older Bucks, I concentrated mostly on the specials and custom types. I have a two dot 110 that was given to me by Harold (bucksforus) that until this one was my oldest and it's another one that I'm very proud of.

Well I think you'll find the pre-dot 110's to be superb knives.
I wonder why the pattern was modified. Anyway, you know you'll be on the hunt for those older ones now. :)

Dave my friend, I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the kind words from all of you. Many folks are so generous and recipients of generosity on this forum, me not least withstanding. Just happy to give back to someone who has been so generous to me and my family. Enjoy it.

VERY nice knife and nice gesture Kevin. Congrats to all!

Those "older" blades just have a certain appeal to them!

Well done Fritz!

The folks here on this forum are just a fantastic group. The thoughtfulness and generosity never ceases to warm my heart. I'm proud to hang with you all (when I can).

I agree Peter, the macassar ebony is second to no scale. I also like the way the texture/finish of the 440c blades appear.

Very cool guys. It's nice to see two guys that are not only forum buddies but buddies on a personal level too. Great knife by the way. Everyone's right in their praise of the scales.

First class gesture all the way! If you dont mind, I'll have Danny, our rework guy, take a look at this thread. This will mean a lot to him as well. :)
