Express mail box on my porch from Busse! Inside my new NO :D

I ordered two, one tan blade and one double cut....only one in the box. Maybe the tan blades will run later? I hope it wasn't over looked.

I believe I was the first phone order of the day when they started taking orders, so check your mail if you ordered one the first day.

I'll try to post a review later tonight if I have time....for now I really like the magnum handle! Fills my palm nicely. Blade is amazingly WIDE! The photos on the web make it appear much thinner, but the real deal looks like it stopped by the gym on the way here. This is one of the heftiest Busse I've handled yet, very stout....like Guiness.

High tech cardboard sheath is a nice touch :p

So you didn't get a sheath through Busse?

What sheath do you plan to get (if at all)?

Oh yeah, and congrats raceporker ;)

Hey Andrew, I really liked the work On Scene Tactical did with my Satin Jack OD green sheath. I will get one of those maybe in black for the NO with black canvas.

Here is some more of my impressions of my new NO...
Man this thing is massive! It's like an original Steel Heart on steroids. The blade is proportioned so wide one would guess it to be 6" at first sight, but it's the same length as my Basic 7...7" indeed. You can forget about filleting small fish :D

No Busse logo on blade, or anywhere. I like it plain. In fact I was going to request it that way. I am thrilled that many of the features I was going to request are here.

Very smooth transition from micarta to steel to micarta along spine and belly of handle...beautiful! Double cut finish is very sweet...I like it MUCH better than my polished Satin Jack. If you are about to order a NO and can't decide between double cut and polished, go with the double cut, you will not be disappointed. Handle rivets are same finish and color as blade.

Balance seems to be centered spot on the talon hole.

The magnum handle has a very pronounced contour and may force your grip slightly. I haven't held a regular SF handled NO, so I can't offer a comparison. I'll say this; I like the magum handle and I like the Glocks with the finger grooves (mostly the side indent contour for the thumb). I'll try to post some pics of the handle. The texture is also very aggressive...should be great for wet conditions retention. I'll have to test that. I'm not hacking any logs tonight, the kids are asleep, but I'm sure the business end will hold up just like any other Busse. I just wanted to offer some feedback for those of you interested in some of the new features. Hope it was helpful.

Have a great Memorial Day and thank a vet or serviceman.
