I was fortunate to recieve number "1 of 500" boy, was I surprised & happy!!
Thanks to all involved with the project !!

The only "problem" is that I bought it to USE,now I have to figure out if it will appreciate in value enough to just look at it, or should I just use the thing.

I can't afford to just buy a second as a "user".
Any advise would be appreciated.

Uncle Knife,
Glad you got your special EDC! I hate to bring you down, but you have have one of the five hundred 154cm EDC's we made. All of them are marked "1 0f 500". Go ahead and use it, you won't regret it.

Thanks for being a customer,

Received mine yesterday. I agree. It's a terrific knife. QC, fit and finish are all top notch. I think at least another is in the near future. Good luck with it.

Mike -- I want one, but am knife poor at the moment. And, there are a couple other knives I want as much or more. Please be good enough to let us know when the number has dwindled extensively, so can re-prioritize, and not fail to get one.

Thanks,

I got mine yesterday. The fit and finish are outstanding and the blade is hair poppin' sharp. WELL DONE Will & Co.
One thing, these puppies are smaller than I imagined they would be. Are there any plans to made the EDC's and Talons in a larger size?

I got mine yesterday. I have to say, I'm impressed with the value. Not a bad little knife for the money. I like custom blades but this one will probably get alot of pocket-mileage and frequent use.
I like the just-right, handy size.
Is the blade shot-tumbled or something? How do you get the grind to look like it wasn't ground?
Jeff

Unclue Mike has got a couple for me as well! I looking forward to those blades! I am surprised that they did not sell out right away.

Well, mine just showed up this afternoon, but I have to agree with all the praise that's been levied on this folder's behalf thus far. The fit and finish is top notch, definitely a bargain for the price, and I don't think I've ever seen a sub three inch blade that seems so big and useful as this one. Congrats Mike and Will on a job well done.

Mine showed up today, and it is a sweet knife. Smaller than I imagined, but sweet just the same. Lockup is tight, blade is sharp, and the finish on the handles is great.

My only question, my blade has small scratches on it, and the finish is very dull, almost like it wasn't polished. Has anyone elses blades arrived this way? Is this the way the blade was meant to be???

Thanks for the replies.

Mike

Mike,
I'd describe my blade in essentially the same way, and I'm fairly sure that the effect is intentional. It appears to be something of a stonewash finish (which is fine with me as I like the stonewashed look). And if it performs like a CRK or MT stonewash finish then you're going to appreciate the way in which the "small scratches" you describe help to hide the bigger scratches that daily use can often present.

Got mine today too. Posted about it in the Camillus area earlier.
I think it is a real good knife for the $, mine locks up very securely, very sharp!

Thanks, Bronco.

If thats how the blade is suppose to look, then I'm happy with it.

So far, this is one hell of a knife!!!
Great job to Darrell, and Camillus!!!!!!

I received 1/2 a dozen on Friday. 4 of the EDC's and 2 of the Talon 154CM's.First impression of the EDC was it was smaller than I thought, however, after handling it more, it fits the hand really well and has good ergonomics I thought. It sits deep in the pocket and is very light I thought. The rough-look blade is very unique looking and will be great for a user in hiding scratches and so forth. It does almost have the Stonewash look to it. Over-all, I'm real pleased with the EDC. BUT.......the Talon 154CM is what really impressed me. I did not realize it came with the Tec-Lock attachment on the sheath. This small fixed blade fits the hand really nice. While it is light, It feels well-balanced in the hand and I feel assured the 154CM will perform very well.

Thanks to Mike & Spark for allowing a few of us dealers in on these.
