And there were NO damn knives in that movie! There was this one part where this dog is running after a pilot, and the pilot has to pick up a rock for self-defense. I am sad that our future servicemen will be so ill prepared.
So what knife are you pulling out if a dog is rushing you and you are on the ground with a bullet in your shoulder?
I'm choosing my Spyderco Bob Lum folding tanto because I am NOT going to drop that!

decent action flick. Not mindblowing but some good FX. Good observation about the lack of knife content.

Sounds like a good movie, I will try and catch it. Has that boob Flyboy ever heard of Firearms? Even the street punks carry em now!

One of the tv shows I still watch, Navy NCIS, features a lot of Spyderco and Benchmade knives. Maybe the producers just didn't want to see a dog get gutted on the big screen in Stealth.

Hey...NCIS is one of my favorites also...great show!

Stealth...

Not interested. I figure I'll just rig up two TVs, play War Games and Top Gun simultaneously while bludgeoning myself in the head with a tire iron, and get the same effect. ;) :D

Wasn't much of the idea for Stealth taken from some of the older Macross\Robotech storyline? I recall reading this in one magazine or another, but can't remember which. The writer said something to the effect that they were similar, minus the fighters transforming. Either way I plan to see it this weekend.

Yeah, just like Macross. Except really really dumb. If you are going to watch it anyway, I suggest bringing some good alcohol. Or at least some strong alcohol.

You know, my wife and I watch that show and like it very much. The thing is, I don't really think it is a good show at all. Everybody is so "playful" and Gibbs acts so tough, but really doesn't seem it at all. Overall two thumbs down...

...yet I love the show. Weird.

Why the hell would an autonomous fighter have a cockpit?!
When bombing the building, why didnt he start from higher up?
Why the hell did she eject downwards?!
Where the hell was her backup parachute and survival vest?
Why didnt the stupid jet just shoot the helicopter?
And the part after the Credits; What a cliche!

Edit:
Almost forgot; the HAL 9000 complex is also a bit cliche.
