sometimes a picture just isnt enough. there are times i hate having knives sent to me for sharpening :D. if its a sweet looking knife (like the groove) it just makes me one one really bad ;):D.

Get one! You definitely won't regret it and I love mine. It's a really great flipper and a lot of fun to play with and run your finger against the grooves.

LOL richard dthat sucks, because I'm gonna need to send my groove to you in a few weeks, been using it alot lately

i almost forgot, i have 1 more kershaw. the one with the 3 interchangeable blades. the first one i had ever seen belonged to a friend who had the entire set of blades.

I have a brand new gray groove still in box that I'll trade you. I put it in my pocket once and didn't like it so it went back in the box.

Wanna trade something for it?

I woe get a set of the wheels, but I don't have the tho g to put them on, and. Don't have rom for. I'm go na get a sharpmaker eventually, but until then my knives will take trips to Ohio.

yeah I failed to spell check on my iPod LOL.

Wasntrying to say that I would get the wheels, but I don't have room for the set up, so I plan to get a sharpmaker. Until then my knives will go to richard for sharpening

L I just realized that I confused a grove and a zing. Although they are essentially the same thing but the zing is smaller rght?

Not to highjack the thread, but Richard sharpened my groove, did it fast, and did it well. It came back sharper than it came from the factory and the edge was mirror polished, which offsets the grooves nicely.

As for the knife, I'm a little torn on the Groove - looks good, flipper is nice, good framelock, but the grooves make cleaning harder. Stuff tends to stick in them.

send it to me then, i will love it like you never did.

my zing is a bit harder to remove things from the grooves (ex. strawberry juice, mmmm strawberries), but i can live with it because the knife is pretty much perfect in every other way.

lava_lamp, your groove is the one i'm talking about :D. the only way i get to check out most knives is when someone sends me one for sharpening or a friend has one. maybe a coating of mineral oil will help keep the blade cleaner.
