I just got back from Toronto where I had a gig ASM'ing a Pro Squash tournement for my uncle. Between the gig itself and some extra cash for helping the court company guys set-up and load-out I netted a nice little sum. so I went shopping.

My shopping list:

Spyderco Assist w/carbide tip
Emerson cqc-11 UTCOM PE
'nother Emerson Combat Karambit
BM 732BK
BM 142
BM 635
1st gen Leatherman Wave
custom Buck 110 (BG42 blade, asian waterbuffalo scales, nickel bolsters)

I picked up an old Wave and a 732 from 1sks. a cqc-11 and a 4th gen endura from knifecenter. I went to pick up an assist and a 635 from NewGraham when I realized... If I spend any more money I won't be able to afford the tix to the NIN concert in march. as it is I will have a hard time affording textbooks for next semester.

NIN... 635... NIN... 635... NIN... 635... Never though this would be the toughest decision I'd have this month.

Yeah, I was running a marginal budget because of my knives last semester, but this semester I've cut wayyyy back.

Don't be too hard on yourself. ;) Looks to me like you made some great choices.

Man dude, knife over concert... you'll have the knife for a long time. Not so with the concert.

Spend the 8 bucks for a used NIN Live cd, and buy the 635. :D

I would, If it weren't for the fact that the last three times they've been within 100 miles of me I haven't been able to go. I can go this time. NIN might not be back for three years. The Skirmish isn't being discontinued any time soon. (knock on wood)

EEEEwwwww Nimick... you might have just sealed the deal for the canceling of the Skirmish. I would take the hunter's advice, and buy the CD and get the kizz-ife...

Cleary :-)
