My loving gf bought me a huge leather working kit and several hunks of good leather for Christmas.
So, a few youtube videos later, I started.
My first was the big leuku. I messed up the amount of leather I needed.
The second was the heavy firesteel and striker. Heavier leather and stiff.
The third was the cold steel finn bear. Just a beater puukko but good testing. This was the first one I was really happy with.
Next, was my ebony puukko. This was the first knife I made 100%. I forged the blade, made the handle and built the sheath.
The last one I made was for my latest puukko. This one has the best retention. The knife snaps into place and holds firm.
