Will Kris Cutlery be including a new katana in their line-up? Does anyone have any information about the new products?

Broken Arrow would be better qualified to answer this question but there are some new products, including a higher-end Japanese-style sword than their current models in the $500-700 range. I have heard that the first run of these are basically all spoken for. I could be wrong in that assumption though. I think these are intended to be released sometime this summer, though again I'm unsure.

Bimmer1,

Kris Cutlery will have several new products comingout this year. The KC high end Katana is trully a work of art. I have played with the prototype #1 and the final version #2. Very impressive for the money. Price hasn't been set yet, but $600-$700 sound right. The blades are clay tempered and have a real hamon, that can be brought out more with some extra polishing. For a user katana the standard finish is fine. The fittings are all there. These kats will come in 29" and 26" blades with a variety of kissaki lengths also.

The second new product is the KC Claymore. Very big and very impressive. The fit and finish looks better than the Del Tin Claymores. Both swords are a must buy, but I don't know what to do with a Claymore.

As far as availability on the High end Katana , I think only two are spoken for as of now. Give Cecil or Tina a call to confirm this.
