I kept debating...

Preston,

There is always another one on the horizon. I think it was probably a good deal. Mint in box with papers for that vintage could go for another 40-50 easily or so I have seen. If I had $125 waiting to be used for a knife, i wouldnt have any regrets getting that on-although I think it would also be possible to sneak one out for 60-70 if not too may people are looking.

I hovered a cursor on the BIN of that one also.

I probably should have clicked, but I'm always looking for the great deal and pass on a lot of good deals.

Oh well, there's always more coming, as was wisely said.

Im pretty sure its just the pictures, but it looks to me to have a full flat ground blade? Im still new to the 110 thing, but did any of them come with FFG blades?

Softer profile on the older knives and they varied.

If you look at the very first picture it shows up better.

It looks like a 4th Ver 1st Var to me and those are reasonably common and were selling routinely for around $80+or- a few last year. I've got several :)

True, it has the more squared-off bolsters. I suspect the seller was not using Joe's info on "Versions."

Run into that from time to time.

not sure... but on looking again ...
i think i agree with Flatlander as to what it is
in which case they over paid i think..
he as a non-buck 'basket weave' also that
generly brings 60 to 75 BIN for 125 so he is over pricing his stuff
as bucksway would say he is 'fishing' for a 'fish' to pay that for it ..
seller is not on my watch list..

LOL,I used one like that to open beer cans back in the days when you needed a church key to open cans. $125  It's in good shape for sure, but for that kind of money I'd rather get an AG 110 and spend the rest on beer:D

I am some what a novice as well, I think I can lern something new every day, mabey I'll die a genius, anyway I aggree with flatlander about the version. I even saw a fourth version being portrayed as a first version. I sent the seller a message correcting him and in the past if a non buckaholic made a mistake the send a message back thanking me for the correct info. Not this one

Right or Wrong on the knife?

Those sellers are getting real sloppy, aren't they?

Sometimes it's a matter of disagreement in sources, but this ain't near no First and I can't see any excuse for it.
