Some of you may remember this thread and how excited I was to have a grail come home.

Some of you may remember a thread I started to thank Charlie (Waynorth) where I had forgotten to put a shirt on before posting pics.:D

All I can keep saying is, “This is unreal!” I think my wife thinks I have lost it because I just keep shacking my head and saying, “I can’t believe it!”

Well, luckily I had my shirt on this time!!

Will, I am truly grateful! I know how much you love this knife and I tried not to ask too many times. I think I only asked twice, but I may have asked a few more times in my sleep. I honestly am taken back beyond words over this. I know in our pms you mentioned it wasn't perfect, that you had dropped it, but buddy this knife is more than perfect just as it is.

I told myself I wouldn’t start anymore “Thank you” threads but this is more of a miracle thread imo! It took two years but I now have the complete set of the knives produced on a day that is most important to me. I know that is odd to some but man this knife means a lot to me. And honestly it could not have come at a more perfect time.

Laura and I have decided to go to one income and Laura stay home due to my daughters condition and other reasons. After my knife budget is gone my knife buying days are behind me and things are going to be tight for years to come but it is what is best for my family. To get this knife today truly means a lot to me.

Thank you Will. I hope you know how thankful and appreciative of this at least a little in this post/ It really is hard to express it all in written word. If you ever need anything shipped from the US I am at your service good sir.

Now, in my excitement I have yet to read the hand written card Will sent along with the 73.
Thanks for letting me share. I may have to dance up and down the street a bit till I calm down. :D:D

That's great Brett. Very generous Will.
Brett, just because your knife buying days are behind you, doesn't mean you should walk away from the forum. I hope you stick around my friend. As many as you've given away, you'll probably still see knives in the mailbox from time to time;)

Congratulations Brett! Being a loyal 73 fan myself, I know how much this knife means to you. With the born on date making it even more special to you! Will is a member that has always shown to be a classy individual and this is no exception! This is just good stuff all around!:D

I'm very glad you got to complete the set Brett :) A beautiful knife with an even deeper meaning behind it.

I agree with Rockon, hope to still see you on here after the buying may stop~

Thanks guys. No worries about me leaving. I have to much to learn and to many friends on here to part ways.

I just hope you all do not get tired of this one being posted often. :D

Congratulations on receiving your grail, Brett!!! I know how much this one means to you and am very thrilled that you have fulfilled a long quest:thumbup::thumbup::D I am excited seeing you so excited.:D Well done, Will!! Well done!

I too know this #73 was special to you Bret, and it's great to see you finally get it, both at this time, and in this way. Couldn't be better. Congrats to you both!

When I first started lurking around the dark corridors on Blade Forums I thought it was just another knife forum only with a lot of genuinely helpful knowledge of various subjects encountered in the knife world and shared openly. I pretty much hung around the General Knife Discussion section and although some very knowledgeable folks were posting it was still a place where a lot of mine is bigger and better got passed around way to often. After I joined BF and started exploring I ran across this sub forum and still am in awe of the character of the folks that post here. This again is another example of the generosity and appreciation that is found on this little sub-forum almost daily. This place is more like the physical communities of years gone by than an internet community shrouded by a cloak of anonymity. Really it is more a family with a common interest and I for one am thankful to be a part of it.

Great stuff right there, good on you Will!

 +1 This is really a special place with Special Persons. I'm glad for you, KBA and not suprised by Will's generosity.

LOL! :D Sorry for not noticing this thread before Brett! :D Great-looking knife, well done Will

Awesome to read this. Best of everything Brett! And such a great gesture Will. I rarely post but always enjoy reading the posts here- this is why. Joe

Brett, I've had my eye out for that knife for you. Every time I checked the exchange or an auction site, I was looking for the knife that has been in your sig line for so long. Glad you found it bud.

I take it you are a little happy about this, Brett. :) I couldn't help smiling when I saw the photo of you with the knife. Congratulations! And good show, Will. Stay with us Brett. You add a lot to the homey feeling here.

Simply too cool for words. Very generous and thoughtful of you, Will!

Brett, best of luck to you and your family. My wife and I made the same decision years ago and never regretted it for a minute!

1. Will Power - great job to give joy to a great member.
2. Brett - glad you finally got that one, I have read many a (enjoyable) post about the hunt.
3. Brett - how many knives you carrying today? I am assuming 4+? Maybe sitting in a big leather chair, after the little ones are down, grinning, CFing and CEing??!:eek::D We've all been there buddy!:D
