Pulled the trigger on these two today based on all the praises you guys sing about them value wise.

I'm a sucker for quality knives under $80 because at that price point, I'm not afraid to use them.

Thanks for helping me lighten my wallet and adding to the obsession.

Great couple of knives! Now you just need a Ruike P801! And a Cold Steel Tuff Lite. And a Kershaw Injection 3.5. And a Byrd Cara Cara 2. And...yeah, this place gets expensive. :D

Looks like you made a great start. Those are some that I would choose starting out with recommendations.

Resistance is futile.

STOP! Right now! You have entered dangerous territory. You should send those knives to me (I'm already hopelessly addicted) so you will not be tempted to provide company for them. ;)

I joined here last year and had a small handful of knives. Now I am approaching 70 knives. Enabling b@$t@rds. :p

That would be the one I would choose (M390) as I have had really good service from the Mini Cutjack in M390. Yeah. It costs a bit more, but you get over the price after you use it a while.

Have you tried any of the Kershaw knives in m390? Iirc they are around the cost of your limit. They are speedsafe though. Not everyone likes that. The Kershaw link in m390 is pretty cool. So is the dividend in m390.

Eh ... Yer not really in "trouble" until you branch off into the Traditional's. :)

Welcome to the Forums. :)
