But they're also totally stress balls, right?
I could open and close my small Insingo all day. In fact I just did.

That's one way of getting the opening and closing action as smooth as silk.

I do that too and I've noticed the more I practice the less often I accidentally close the knife on the tip of my thumb. Course even now I'm missing a bit of thumb, but oh we'll that's part of the fun, right?

I do the same with mine:o

It is relaxing and I've yet to notice any damage. I do not wrist flick, that action makes my skin crawl these days(thanks CRK) and when I see others do it I subconsciously make a nails on chalkboard face.

HOWEVER, i'll give em a good thumbflick every now and then:p

I let a friend check mine out the other day and he wrist flicked the crap out of it. I kind of gasped a little and my eyes got real big. I just calmly took it back from him and put it in my pocket. Lesson learned.

I had that happen to one of my Large Regulars.

Twice in a row, two different people!

I kid you not, I did the slow motion NOOOO as I saw the wrist go back, then I did a healthy facepalm when I heard the THUNK!

I explained that its unnecessary and can jack up the solidity of the lock up.

After they got done laughing at me a light went off as to why their folders are loose. Granted one of them has used his Gerber to destroy a cell phone, put a few holes into walls, and other various acts of random stupidity. I swear I work with pirates!:D

Honestly though, now they know and I don't hesitate letting them handle one of my knives:thumbup:

I open and close mine a lot too. And use it for anything that needs cut because I'm just like "I'LL GET IT!"
Yes my Sebenza has made me want to open everything, cut tons of paracord, and find tons of other things that need cut.
Also, I do NOT let anyone handle my Sebenza, other than my mom or dad because they aren't going to flick it like all of the other idiots that think flicking a knife is the only way to open it.

I've been flicking my 'zaan lately since I've been carrying it so much, but if I just "have to" flick I've kept a couple of Spydies for that.
The Para2 and the Gayle Bradley demand to be flicked. A lot. Think I'm going to go flick one right now actually ......

Just wait 'till you get your first insingo. I'm tellin' ya, get a small plain insingo and scotch brite the handles nice and smooth. You'll suddenly think "why do I have all these other knives laying around?"

Anyone else play with their sebenzas while driving?? I do it all the time. I'm screwed if I wreck!

I do that too and many times have thought if a wreck doesn't hurt me this thing will...

"The impact didn't kill him ma'am, we found a knife in his chest"...

I commute almost a hour every morning and again every night. Whatever knife is with me that day gets plenty of cycling, albeit gently. It's really been a long term confirmation for me on the superiority of the brand, now that I think about it. After a few round trips, the majority of my knives end up as trade fodder. CRK's have yet to disappoint. Mr. Tanto 'Zaan is getting near 1000 miles already. :D
