but wow...what a knife!

I just got mine, and man...what everybody else has already said is true!

I understand your enthrallment, glockman. I know what I'll be doing tonight! And hopefully that won't include a trip to the ER! :D

When you get there, say hi to Dann for us. :D

I won't get a 0200 until after Christmas. There isn't a dealer
within 200 miles of here and I want to see it first hand. So, I'll wait. :(

The ZT 0200 is one of those knives that you really don't HAVE TO see first hand before you buy it. Buy one as soon as you can...You WON'T be sorry you did...(Unless you can't handle a large, heavy, built-like-a-tank type of folder.).

Yep,....so far my favorite folder,.....and i doubt i'll like another better,......not even the ZT 0301 and similiar AO ZT's.

I like the open construction of the non-AO ZT 0200, (ease of cleaning)......and you don't get that with the assisted opening ZT's. One less thing to possibly go wrong also,.....and i really don't think you give up much speed in getting it open.

Today i gave a few more ZT 0200's away,........one to the younger guy i currently work with at the coin store,.......one to the guy i USED to work with in a mall jewelry store before i quit there 3 years ago,.....and one to my ex-boss at the same jewelry store. I was there to pick up the week buys of scrap gold,.....and gave them their gifts a bit early since i usually see them on Fridays.

All three of them were very pleased with the solid feel, construction quality, and look of these very fine folders! I should have mentioned to keep a supply of band aids and paper towels around,.....just in case!

The guy i currently work with was the ONLY one who chose the partially serrated blade,.......out of the 9 i've given away so far. I wouned if that is about the norm.......about 90+% choose the plain blade. I may have to stock up again,.....just in case they ever discontinue or change these brutes!

I especially like the all black, "descrete" look while wearing in my pant lip. A plain uncoated blade would be cool too ,.....but that's about the only change i would be willing to accept on these full sized folders.

...........now make available a "Baby" ZT 0200 at the factory level,.....and i'd be a happy man indeed! ;)

Thomas,....if your listening,......how many would someone need to commit to in order to commission a 3 inch version of this knife? I might just be willing to get-er-done!

2brothers, I agree with Dann...this thing is a monster! You won't regret getting one prior to any hand time!

Joe, I think you're right. Non AO, but still opens quickly. Simple, straightforward and very functional!

Dang, I'd LOVE to have a "Baby"/Mini 0200 !!!...One of those, and my "regular-sized" ZT 0200 would make for the PERFECT EDC pair.....

...One of these days...:).

The 0200 is just hard to beat for a heavy duty folder. I'm still amazed when I look at it that Kershaw can sale them for the price they do. It is simply an awesome deal!

I'm trying, .....big guy! I'll buy a whole bunch to limit KAI's risk,.......but i need a number!

So far they haven't taken me up on my offer to send it their way for evaluation. I just LOVE the way it "feels" in hand,......and a 3 inch version makes for a more useful everyday knife that won't scare off anyone. Maybe if they can feel it too, they'll see how popular it could be! :)

I might have to put my mini ZT 0200 out there for a passaround, in order to get some hands on feedback to the home office! If Jeremy wants to set something up,.......PM me.

...........yeah i know,.......Dann's gotta be FIRST on the list,.......and we'll work the knife back to me in the east! :D

Naw, I couldn't be on that list...I'd NEVER want to let it go if it were to ever end up in my hands...Joe would have to come all the way out to the West Coast to try and pry it out of my hands...(It'd be easier to pull the Excalliber Sword out of that large rock..:D.:D.).

...Seriously, I wouldn't.:D.

I trust ya there,.......oh glock-ZT0200-man!

And i wouldn't have to come out there to pry it out of your hands. We'd just have to make sure the 2nd man on the list lived within driving distance to you!

..............PM just sent off to nygiantsfan3342 (Jeremy),......requesting his assistance in setting this up.......

I would love to help, as soon as I find out where the hell the Tyrade is...

Ryan9977 told me he shipped it to Swoop 9 days ago, but swoop hasn't posted since he signed up for the pass-around. Something doesn't feel right...

Sorry for the thread-jack. Your passaround is a great idea.

well Joe, you know im on the list for "baby" s passaround. so long as it isnt my baby (my Offset :D)!!!

that does suck Jeremy. It'l turn up. The Holidays are heck on earth, as we all know.

Hey Joe,

if this is now the sign up for the baby 0200 passaround then count me in as well.

If you get Kershaw to make the baby 0200 I would buy at least one myself.

Thanks, George

Nothing official yet as it'll probably get going after the holidays,.....hopefully when Jeremy (nygiantsfan) has time to get it set up. Also not sure of the order, but figure west coast coming back home to "papa" here in upstate New York. Not sure how many will be interested,......but look for an official sign up sheet soon. Those showing an interest here will certainly be considered.....
