After I log out of my system, and come back several hours later, I am automatically logged in again, without having to sign in! I didn't click to have my system automatically do this, does this mean someone has hijacked my user ID? Yes, it was me posting like a freak since I've joined. Does this mean someone else is using my ID on the system? I haven't seen any posts that I didn't write yet, but I don't wanna get kicked off the boards. Thanks :confused:
 
Are you logging out of BFC by clicking LOG OUT on the upper right hand side of the page or just your PC?
 
That's normal. The Bladeforums system recognizes you by cookies on your computer, so as long as you're using the same computer you don't have to keep logging in.

If someone else who is not necessarily trustworthy could have access to that computer -- especially if it's a public access computer at a library or cafe -- LOG OUT before you leave that computer! There's a big log out button at the top right of every page -- just click that and you're logged out. :cool:

I just looked at your account and you have avatar viewing turned off. Go to your User Control Panel, then Edit Options, and you'll find it in the Thread Display Options.
