But I will post it here among family. I used my Battle Mistress-E this weekend. Yes, you read right, I used my BM-E. I had some more shrubs that needed clearing that i had been letting go for three years and there were various other trees that had grown up and everything was becomming rather unsightly. BM-E to the rescue.
I spent about an hour solid swinging and chopping. Branches and saplings were flying everywhere. I even cut a few out to thin out the excess. Chopping in the dirt, I think it was laughing at me. The Asym edge worked better for me in the right hand than the left, the edge geometry I guess, but it sailed thru everything I threw at it. 1,2,3 inch cuts were dispatched like a knife thru butter
After everything was done and my 48 foot fence line was cleared the wife made an appearence and said wow. Then roller her eyes and said she thought I was going to do that with a bow saw or some other tool less menacing. I thought I was getting odd looks from the neighbors and everyone at their yard sale.
Now gettign back to the using part, relax, I was not the first. I pruchased her from another who had lightly loved her. I have had her for a while and have been admiring. Now that I have actually started the using, I think we are in for much more fun. On a side note, nothing gets the cardio going like chopping wood in the heat with a knife. It works the bi-ceps, tri-ceps, forearms, lats and cardio, it is not only a knife, it is an EXCERCISE MACHINE! And no one will balk a spending 300 on an excercise maching!!!, not even my wife!!!!!
