I like Becker knives and variety .

I got a BK 9 a week or two ago and this thing is "bitchen" (vintage term) and Ive been using it everyday

I like this big blade so much tha I had a hankerin' to get try another big blade for batoning fire wood etc and for variety and just to compare using

So I got one of the blades that start with a "E"

Ive notice there is no "E" Manufacturers Forum on Blade Forums. Not sure why

So what sub forum is best to talk about the "E" knives?... Im gonna electro etch the logos on it

Or is ok to talk about "E" knives here on Becker sub forum ? :D Im sure there are other beckerheads that have a "E" knife too

general knives discussion is where i see most of the discussion. Side note, Ontario has a sub forum, but there is way more discussion stirred in the general knife forum than there.

Congrats on the 9!!

Many Beckerheads also own E-knives. They used to have a forum here, but went independent. You can find the ESEE forum on their website. You'll find quite a few of us over there too. No harm in comparisons here with the friendly competition, though E-only threads probably belong in General.

If you have a 14 or 24, you already own an "E" knife....says right there in the laser etch. The website you'll be looking for is jungletraining.com. The link will take you to one of my favorite threads there (or anywhere else, FTM). Yeah, we here in BK&T land get along pretty well with the ESEE clan.

Ethan's knives are good, the other "E" knives are also good -- the "O" knives, OTOH.........

heh. ;)

(seriously, though, the RAT1 folder is pretty nice for a low end cutting tool)

Becker Knives
You won't see too many people at the Becker Knife booth-they're out in the woods actually using their knives. No one's ever captured a picture of more than 3 of them together at one time. They are like BMW motorcycle riders in that regard. Strangely, they are almost all decent cooks and they have an affinity for cast iron. They call themselves Beckerheads with Ethan being the HBIC. Urban legend has it that one beckerhead actually starved to death waiting for a phone conversation with Ethan to end.

I have an ESEE 6. A RAT 6, to be exact. I love it. One of my favorite knives.

I just got a Junglas. My first Esee. Wanted to see what the Esees were all about. Nice fit and finish and nice sheath, bigger than the Becker BK9. But the BK 9 is a more of a Nimble big knife and I really like the Becker handle

.

There used to be an ESEE subforum.
Then a moderator started moving threads out of the subforum into other places, people got pissed, words were posted, ESEE left, and Jeff and Mike started their own forum. You can talk ESEEs to your heart's content at: http://jungletraining.com/forums/index.php

Best way to get in good over there is to throw your ESEE knives and then ask Mike Perrin to warranty them. Or better yet, ask him to warranty a rust issue.

Only in the Snark (off-topic) thread. We try to keep it about Becker in here.

Guyon , I heard to get in good (hee hee) call Esee and tell them you need new handle screws cause you stripped the threads or lost them . Ha Ha

Tell them it's because you shot the knife trying to get it loose from a tree.
