stabilized curly koa?

though you may need to also make a liner. and maybe some sort of insert for the screws so they dont crack the scale.

its just barely thicker than stock. i prefer the countersunk look. ive been toying with the idea of a wood scale, and i have some .03 titanium. i may just try something like your idea. although koa is not readily available around here.

i like that CF, but i would prefer it to be solid and not "mayoized" but besides that it looks great

I think it's perfect just the way it is. Those are some black itchy hands you have there. I'm kind of scared to start playing with carbon fiber.

first time i started working it, i saw sketchy fumes comming off the peice as i ground it. since then, i wear a breather with filters. im sure every breath you take in shaves days off your life.

you'll probably want to do that all the time when making scales, g-10 is dangerous stuff too, but so is metal and all other fine particles flying around in the air.

another great job Peter!!
