I decided to make going to the mailbox exciting again and ordered a '04 Soldier from felinevet. It came today, and now I see what all the Alox fuss is about. The Soldier is built like a tank and finished like jewlry.

I like your title. I thought of something with Ocelot. Like; Ocelot of love?;)

I've carried saks for over 30 years, and more and more I find myself drawn to the alox knives. My hiker, tinker, and others are gathering dust while the soldier, pioneer, and pioneer settler get used as edc.

With the heavier blades and springs, there is something old timey about the feel of the alox saks. Like the old stockmen and barlows of old, built for real use!

Is there a model that comes in that finish, I'm looking for a one layer Sak whith the main blade, sccisors, corkscrew or phillips screw driver, can and bottle opener separeted.
what model that will be?

How do yo order from Felenivet?

i like the idea of alox, but they just don't have an alox version that i like, and that would do the jobs i want to do with it. i mainly use a wenger handyman and a vic huntsman lite... and i use every bit (13-16 function) of the tools on it. can't see going down to 1-4 blades with an alox version. am i missing a model that would have what i want/need?

I can't think of any alox models that meet those specs. The only ones that have scissors are key chain size, and don't know of any that have a phillips or corkscrew.

Here is a link to felinevet's store: http://felinevet.sosakonline.com
