I REALLY like the B-4, if it is what I think it is. The blade looks like a ABA-3, but with res-c handles? o:

I'd trade my war dog for that o:!!!

Anyone have any pics? Or any idea of when it will be released?

Probably not. But w/e, theres no knowing what will happen here :D

The B4 and B10 are the MUST haves of the Basics That Never Were line!!!
Hope these are released first!!!

Here is a pic of the B series. Notice the WarDog grip on the 4 and the traditional grip on the others.

Agreed! I gotsta have one. I haven't been this excited about a knife for a while. :D

I'm gonna guess that the B-4 is going to be very popular and is going to be more expensive than the War Dog. Maybe in the $228 area? If I guess right do I get a free one? I literally want one of each of the new knives releases at blade, but if I had to choose 5, I'd go with the Basic 10, Basic 4, SY 711, SR 511, SY 311. This list keeps changing ever 5 minutes though. They all are so awesome!

I'm gonna guess that the first release from Busse will be the B-10. Releasing the B-4 now would be too soon after the release of the War Dog. I think a lot of people are in the same boat as the OP and would trade their War Dog in for a B-4.

I'd like a Basic 4 however I've got enough small Busse/Busse-kin fixed blades so I'm probably going to hold out for the Basic 10 I never thought the basic line would ever see the light of day again and very happy to see Jerry bring em' back.

All of the Basics that never were and the 11 series knives from SYKCO and SR should be availabe in the Blade Ganzaa. Bring It! BIG TIME! :D I see a Basic 4 and a 911 in my future.

Is it exactly 4"? I'm kinda hoping more like 4.25 to 4.5. That's about my sweet spot for a small FB-general utility/outdoors knife or hunter. Then i carry something bigger to chop with or clear brush.

I hope the basics come out soon! I have my eye on the 4 and 8. The 4 keeps lookin better

No it is not exactly 4".
Mine has got a 12cm blade from the tip to the handle.
That´s about 4.7":D

Frank, that's just cruel, teasing the piglets with an old-school Euro 4.

Beautiful edge btw, especially at the tip. Did you thin it some?

No i did not have to thin it.
I got it a few weeks ago in an almost mint condition.
The blade was fully convexed to zero and i only had to polish the edge a little bit to get it razor sharp and shinig...

I like the b4, but the blade to handle ratio seems weird to me in some of the pictures... I'll probably buy it regardless...
