I like to chop

Holy shit! Thats awesome!

Everyone needs to watch this.
The dog in the background made the party!

Well done sir

i agree that was the best introduction post ever!

now please tell us about that axe:eek:

I'm new to this forum too, but didn't write an introduction post due to a lack of inspiration.
Looks like you have got enough of that! Guess a video says more than a million of words!
Just love it!

Do you do this for a local television station or something?
Otherwise you're the most professional youtube blogger I've ever seen. (not that I'm an expert regarding the blogging culture:))
Just spectacular to see the glass/milk/... be chopped slow-motion in millions of peaces:D

Good vids Terry! If I may suggest, since you are Australian, why no vids of you giving the axe to some lager -in the can as well as in the bottle?

WOW! this is a really active forum! Thanks for all the positive feedback.

CWL - great idea to do some aussie beer. Although don't believe the hype, Fosters tastes like horse piss...but i'll definitely consider some James Boags or Cascasde for one of my future chops.

Witchunter - My next door neighbour Garry makes all my big chopping axes from scratch. I'm more into the theatrical side of the chop as opposed to the technical details, but next time i'm talking to him I'll get some specs for you. Here's a small scan of a drawing that garry did on one of my tea towels prior to build:

Buckabee - not a professional - yet! I really want to be discovered for my chopping prowess and perhaps get a TV show. Once again you can thank my neighbour Garry for the superb slow motion footage. He used to work as a cameraman and he helped build weapons for Aussie movies like Mad Max and Razorback.

Citizen Q - I'm an animal lover and a vegetarian so I only chop vegetables and minerals. NO animals! hehe but thanks for the suggestion.

Bigfattyt - Love the Dundee quote! Paul Hogan is a big inspiration as is Yahoo Serious!

Thanks again everyone.

HooRoo from Terry.

I vote for a butchered pig head!

Meat is fun too. Killing stuff sure does make the day a whole lot better, and I've played the radio chop like 100x already, that's surprisingly all the motivation I needed to tackle my issues. Disturbed? Yes. But that's why we love it.

I understand completely...would you consider an oversized pink puppy?

You know, some people in this world need to get new hobbies.

Terry, you are not one of these people. I'm laughing my ass off here. :D Keep up the good work!

Now that is some truly excellent work! I'd like to nominate Castlemaine XXXX as the beer to go on the chopping block. Normally I would consider chopping a beer to be alcohol abuse, but in the case of Castlemaine I'd prefer to think of it as justice being served.
