Im sure that there's picture threads based around beater knives, but one more isn't gonna hurt!

 
Ill have to snap a pic of my Aranyik E-Nep, the thing is so ugly its pretty. It looks like it would chew you up. spit you out and give you cancer just by looking at it.

Its also an awesome user.
 
No, ugly is fine. The Aranyik is hideously ugly in a super cool apocalypse sort of way. Plus i couldnt care less what it looks like as well as it works
 
Most of the knives in this photo have been used more than my current carry knives get used. Look at the yellow knife towards the left side. I used this one when I worked as a mechanic in high school and college over 35 years ago. The knife was a hand-down from my father, he used it until he broke the tip of the main blade. I squared it up on a bench grinder and used that part as a pocket screwdriver. I used the knife to cut hoses, cut wire, scrape gaskets, whatever. I sharpened it on a bench grinder. It was actually a pretty handy tool but if I was in that position now I would be able to carry a good multitool instead. I still have the knife but I don't think I've used it since I got out of college.

Those are the knives I (ab)use the most. The coating on the HEST is holding up surprisingly well :thumbup:

My Aranyik E-Nep size -1, the biggest they make, with its hobo sheath that i use because it just sits between the seats of my work truck.








Its a fantastic knife though, and high on my if-i-only-had-one-knife list

One of my most used for sure. It's lost more coating since this pic but don't have any newer pics.
My most carried folders are my sebenza 25 and emerson CQ-7
