Here's hoping that Camillus survives! Central New York State is a great place to live and work, and it would be awful to see a whole bunch of families hurt, and possibly displaced by the usual bank and corporate greed.
I lived in Syracuse for 4 years, of which Camillus is a suburb or satellite city. It's a beautiful part of the world.
I'm not a dedicated collector, of Camillus knives, but I would certainly buy a commemorative "back in business" knife if it was endorsed by the workers, to help finance a revival of the cutlery.
Here's a group of older knives from Camillus that I dug out of my various rolls, to celebrate what was, and hope for what could be!
