Last Sunday my Bradford Guardian came out of its sheath. The good news was I knew exactly where it dropped. The bad news was the spot was roughly 30 acres of dense mountain laurel. The kind of stuff deer have to crawl through.
I was busy Monday but managed to grab my dog and look for it on Tuesday. I was lucky enough to also talk 3 people into helping for a bit. The laurels behind my dog are what I mentioned. We searched for about an hour but couldn't find it. I was sure it was gone.
Friday afternoon I'm back at the shop to grab some tools and a co-worker walks up. This is the guy that finds everything. He says look what I found. I knew he was in the area I lost my knife. I just knew instantly, I didn't even have to look.
