I lost my kershaw skyline :(

Hey guys I am really bummed out. Today I lost my kershaw skyline.
It was my favorite knife. I carried it everyday. I got it for my birthday from my father so it was very special.
It was the nicest knife I have owned. Now here is the story on how I lost it:
I was at a restaurant and after we finished our meal (which wasn't to great for the price we paid) we got up and left. When I got home I went to empty my pockets and realized it was gone. The first thing I did was go out and look in the car. After about a half an hour of looking i finally gave up and determined it was not there.
Then I called the restaurant to see if they had found a knife but they had not.
I had a hard time sleeping that knife because it was my favorite.
I decided to call back the next morning, they still had not found it.
if you guys have ever lost a knife post down below...
 
I had just purchased a new Benchmade Osborne and I was breaking down boxes at a guitar shop I was working in. I set the knife down on the side of the dumpster and was distracted by something so I left it there for all of 10 minutes when I went back into the shop. I quickly realized that I didn't have my knife and I went back to the dumpster. The knife was already gone. I wasn't very happy with myself at that moment.

Sorry about your knife. Mine didn't have the sentimental value that yours has.
 
lost a cold steel recon 1 in the woods....my first decent knife and it started this whole hobby...then I lost a sog trident at work only to see it in the pawn shop next door, but I wouldn't file a police report saying it was stolen so I couldn't get it back. hopefully I won't lose my nicer expensive knives when I buy them
 
That's why I always check my pockets after I get from a seat and also check the seat itself and the area around it to see if I dropped anything.
 
That's why I immediately clip my knife back onto my pants when I'm done using it. I never set it down.
 
I've lost a spyderco harpy that was my first nice knife I had. When I was 15 when , then I lost a spyderco dragonfly ss. Once I bought a benchmade, idk what it was It was 65 bucks and I lost it on my way home from buying it. Then at age 17 I got a kershaw Jyd 2 CB, carried that for a couple years and said hey I haven't lost this thing. Time to buy something BETTER and thats when I found BFC:cheerful:
I would also like to think about who ever finds them. I know I would love to find a harpy or skyline on the ground. Hopefully they get a ton of use out of them.

Lost my one and only 0500 MUDD. I was cutting the lower field and had been doing some fence work that day. I looked everywhere for a couple of days...mebbe someday it will show back up, but for now its only a memory.
 
i lost a spyderco ppt. last spring coaching lacrosse i brought it to a game because you have to cut string pretty often as a lax coach. i used it to cut a bunch of string to string up a goal pre game, and at half time i went to grab it to cut some more string and it wasnt in my pocket. i looked all over but couldnt find it. i was realllllllllll sad.
