I Lost My Shop In a Fire

Hey guys, I lost the shop in a fire . I'm very lucky to be alive, I was stuck in the building when it really took off and barely made it out... have some pretty nasty burns and am still coughing from the smoke.

My loyal shop dog was there and managed to get out too, no one was seriously injured but I literally lost everything. No insurance even though we kept it up for years, have always insured everything but was dropped by the carrier recently and I was unable to get anyone to insure it.

I'm figuring this out one day at a time. These burns are about to drive me nuts. My refrigerator just died along with the contents and my neighbor shot two of my dogs right before that.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Back in the day I was a firefighter. You can't realize how absolutely fast flames can spread. Your #1 priority is you and the shop dog obviously . You're good. Praise the Lord.

Hey thanks, I would seriously appreciate that! It has been rough as knives have been my family's sole source of income for over 15 years now. I have a plan though, that would help out so much.
