Hi folks -

Last week I was lucky to win the Case Butterbean that Rob was giving away in his "What's your favorite bean?" thread.

Tonight I returned home and found a package from Texas in the mail box.

I rushed inside and opened up the package and this is what I found:


I laughed loudly when I zipped open the pouch and the beans rolled out onto the counter! What a beautiful gift! It really made my day!

I will carry the little bean proudly!

The only problem with this in now I know that Case also calls their canoes butterbeans. Therefore I have another pattern to look out for, drool over, and eventually get some of.

Don't throw those beans away. I may be begging for them before too long for my lunch!
