Thanks for the link! Are those sirupates though, or don't the cho's look closed like on a type of a chitlange or chainpure perhaps, and the bells look a bit large too, wish we could see the fullers better or the lack thereof. Also, the reporter says the kuks are 16", but they appear longer to me (perhaps because of the contrast to the soldiers' stature). In any case, those are huge swords compared to the 15" BAS model I expected.

At 2:25 onwards, the drills remind me of my Iaido drills with samurai swords even down to the foot work, though the foot work is where I find the biggest differences. I wish they showed a few more drills. I wouldn't like to find myself in a knife fight against those guys (even more than against any other guys :).

Alex those are definitely in 18". I re-checked my 18" ASTK and it came up a hair shy of 19". Now i must show 20" Bura-made Sirupati with a 1/4" spine at the ricasso with hill walnut Chitlange handle by forumite Mohd.(Pak i hope you don't mind!)

You may find Shuny Bee's 7 angles of chopping with Gurkha at youtube. :)
