I love just about everything on the Calypso Jr. except the lockback. What to get?

I love my Caylpso Jr. but I am just too used to my liner locks to really be comfortable with the back lock. Is there something like a Calypso but in a liner or frame lock?

It MUST have a flat ground blade. It could have a little longer blade than the Calypso Jr. but not too much longer. It could also have a bit more upsweep on the tip but it doesn't have to as I like the Calypos blade very much.

At an upgraded price you can get a Paramilitary, Lil' Temp. They have a compression lock.

However, there is no knife quite like the Calypso Jr, it's the best slicer I have,
and the price is right down there.

If you like a thin blade with a full grind that is a real pocket scalpel look at the Kershaw Sapphire. It is a real gentleman's knife with blue titanium handle.

It's worth giving the lockback a chance, especially in such a sweet knife!

Shoot, I pretty much prefer lockbacks, (although axis locks are nice, too).

Lum Chinese. Period. End of story.

+1 in a big way.

Get a Lum Chinese. The knife is a laser.

The Lum Chinese is a folding laser. Luke Skywalker's pocket knife. I have a PE green and a Grey Caly Jr.

The fit and finish on the Chinese is soooo good...get one and you'll see.
