I love my gerber basic fixed blade, was my first brand name knife, and also my first edc. After losing my original i recently purchased another. The handel is a little smaller than i remember from about two years ago. Anyways, i was wondering if anyone knew a nice small edc fixed blade similar to the gerber basic. I would like to keep the specs as close to the basic in terms of length, with one exception; i would like a fixed blade with about maybe 1/4-1/2 inch longer handel if possible. The blade steel i don't care. I don't want the gerber epic either. I would like the price to be near the basic. I would prefer if it had serrations (combo edge), and drop-point is most preferable, but tanto is also fine. I also already own the gerber warrant. In terms of sheath something that is closely similar to the basic's friction lock sheath.
