I love my Gerber Mini A/F!

I don't know if I'm just easy to please or what, but this is a great knife! I spent an hour in Gander Mtn trying to pick out a Med Timberline Worden folder that I'd be happy with, and after trying every one in stock, and being happy w/ the lock-up on none of them, I stopped by Wally World and bought the 1st Mini A/F that I tried!

The fit & finish are excellent, lock-up is tight & well centered, and the size is perfect. It opens smoothly, and the handle material feels good (I absolutely hate Zytel scales).

My only wish would be one with a plain rather than combo edge.

Anyone else have one of these? Anyone have a mini and a larger version? If so, do the aspects that I mentioned about the smaller version transition well in the larger model?

I got the fullsize last christmas and really like it, my brother has had one (full size) for well over 5 years, and he uses it fishing, camping and 4x4'ing. He really loves it and it has seen hard use.
Most people on the site seem to not like the fullsize and complain about problems with the locking mechanism that neither my brother or I have encountered

I almost bought one of the mini's at the store a couple of weeks ago .. instead I went with the Gerber/Winchester Engage because of the flipper on it.. I think I will have to add the mini A/F to my collection next time .. felt like a really nice knife when I toyed with it trying to decide..
