I Love my Madpoet!

I got my Madpoet today and i love it! It has this RAW solid feeling to it! It's a custom made 53/2 thick 3.5' Wharncliffe blade, full tang with a dark Desert ironwood scale. The minute i hold it, it gives this aura of strength and authority. Though i had general utility knife in mind but i had Mel made me a drop handle for reverse grip deffensive mode. I asked for a thumb rest with some form of horizontal filing for grip, Mel did a fancy filing instead, nice touch! It was a bonus since i didn't ask for it! The fit and finish was good too,Not forgetting that he's a nice guy to work with and i'm sure i'm not the first to mention it! I would recommend him to anyone who wants a custom knife with a fair price.

I have three of Mel's knives including the two knife Camp Set. They have more "soul" than most knives and are made to feel just right and work for you when they are in the hand. I agree, Mel is a great guy to do business with.
