She's such a sweetheart and is always bringing me new goodies. :D
Excuse the poor pictures, too much coffee today to hold real still I guess. I'll do better later.

Here's what she brought me today. The 1990 BCCI Club knife (Sawby 531) and the 1991 531. I was surprised at the difference in the blades between the Sawby and the lockback 531. I hadn't noticed that before.

She also dropped this one off. It's another "Thank you San Diego" knife, another 805 for my "steak knife" collection.

Plumber, Thanks for posting the great photos . The first and second Club knives . WOW !
Your "Thank you San Diego" 805 is a little different than the production series model . Still, I think that series is one of the best Buck came out with . DM

Plumberdv nice score on the first two club knives. The 805 is also a great score. Thank you for all the great pictures. HL

I'm working on the third club knife also, the 535.

My other 805 is the one with the checkered walnut handles, and a polished S30V blade that Chuck and Cj engraved their names on.

I don't know if I have a "mail lady" or a "mail man;" I've honestly never met the person. But anyone who brought me treats like that would definitely be on my list of favorite people. Beautiful stuff, Dave.

Thank you. She's a sweetie. My mailbox is up at the main road about 750' from my house and I can't even see it for the trees. She always brings the mail down to me if the box won't fit in the mailbox and either gives it to me if I'm here or put's it inside my porch. The carrier I had before always took them back to the PO and I had to go get them.

Those types are nice to have Plumber . The third club knife ! Dang ! Glad, you now have two from the 800 series . Awesome, knifes and photos . DM

There's another side to the Mail story though. Last Monday, went up to the mailbox in the late afternoon and found a Priority Mail box containing my new in the box 2000 Red handled BG-42 532 sitting on TOP (!!!!) of my mailbox. Right out there in the open. Heck, anyone passing by wouldn't even have to get out of their car to take it. If they had a passenger, they wouldn't even had to slow down much!

I knew it couldn't have been my regular carrier that did it, so I called the Post Office the next day and talked to the Postmaster. He checked the schedule and found out my lady was off sick that day and it was a replacement that did that. He was very upset and promised to see that it never happened again. I sure hope not.

Those are nice Dave,do both 531s have the same steel? When I was a mail carrier and was off all kinds of nightmares happened, man I could write a book about it.The worst of them usually became SUPERVISORS,I kid you not.I always got to know my customers and knew where to leave their parcels if they weren't home.I even caught burglars red handed once. You have a good Mail Lady Dave.

They should both be 425M I believe.

I need a mail lady like yours... Mine won't even get out of her mail truck/car to leave a box... To much work... I hate that.... :grumpy:  :thumbdn: ...
