Just wanted to share some photos with my fellow SRKW fans. It took me a long time to hunt down these generation 1 beauties, and I had to sell some of the best INFI in my collection to fund them :eek: They are new and unused, but that might have to change soon (I know Gravelface...;)). In order, they are the Rat Mastiff, Ratweiler, Desert Jack, SAR Rat, and the Safari Skinner. ALL I NEED IS THE DAMN RAT DADDY! However, good things come to those who wait...supposedly.

I have always had an appreciation for the early Rats. The ergonomics, unique canvas micarta, and classic bowie blade profiles have always appealed to me. Also, the fact that SR-101 gets sharper than any other steel I have used makes for an almost maintenance free knife. I wouldn't rather have any other knives with me on any given outdoor excursion! Thanks for having a look gentlemen.

Dang...just dang...:thumbup:

But, no Dog Skinner? :confused::rolleyes:;):)

Probably better that no, otherwise you would find me trying to get in a window!

Great pics brother. Do me a favor- take very good care of that Ratweiler- Keep her nice and clean- well sharpened, and take her out on the town now and then- just to show her you love her. Keep her nice though for when she is for sale. Whenever she is-and I know she eventually will be, or you will somehow find a better one- you will sell me that one. heheheheh. You know im still looking for the chopweiler and the ratweiler.

Sweet snwbrdr202. Now I know why you are always on the hunt for the Rat Daddy. That family needs a father.

Don't forget about the Rat Hunter and Dog Skinner. ;)

Great collection of the finest blades from the Swamp! Good luck in your search for the Daddy of all Rats. :thumbup:

Hey gentlemen, thanks for all of the comments! Yes, I still have a few to collect...and I am going to try (TRY) to be patient in waiting for these to pop up.

Agreed, and I have to say that it will apparently be a very long time before they improve on the old SR line.
