The more I carry and use my S.P.O.T. the more impressed I am. This knife rocks!
I wasn't sure about the reverse-S blade shape, but it has proven useful for all sorts of utility tasks. And that little blade cuts like something a lot bigger.
The grip locks into my hand better than any other I've tried.
My sheath came out just right. It fits tight, with no rattle. The little ridge in the center of the lip locks around the finger ring perfectly, holding the knife in place quite firmly.
Kudos to Spyderco for the neck chain! I have been using paracord sheathing a ball chain for all my neck knives, but I never expected to receive one on a production knife.
The only thing on my wishlist for the SPOT is a couple of holes in the sheath that would accept a TekLok for belt carry. Two of the rivets are placed correctly, but they're too narrow for the TekLok screws to fit through.
Great job! This is a "must have" for anyone who wants a lightweight neck knife. I'm going to have to get another one for my wife.
